Registered Nurse's – Specialist Rehabilitation

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, motivated Registered Nurse's that have a passion and commitment to work in a specialist area who strive to develop themselves and others, working across professional boundaries.

You will work within Kings Lodge (ward 3) a 19 bedded Specialist Rehabilitation Unit providing Adult Neurological Rehabilitation for patients with complex and specific neurological conditions, including traumatic and acquired brain injury. Kings Lodge is based at our London Road Community Hospital site and as part of the Trusts redesign of rehabilitation specialist services; you would be part of a team assisting in the continued development of the service.

Requirements of the role:

• Excellent communication skills
• Neurological rehabilitation experience is desirable but we do need you to have a passion and desire to deliver specialist Neurological Rehabilitation
• Must be able to demonstrate Multi-Disciplinary working
You will be expected to maintain high standards of specialist nursing care and be committed to maintaining patient’s safety, privacy and dignity by being motivated, caring and wanting to make a difference to the patient’s experience with a positive attitude.

You will be supported within this role to increase and develop your clinical and leadership skills and during your induction you will spend time with all members of the MDT.

Ongoing support will be through preceptorship at the level appropriate to your experience. Kings Lodge actively facilitates through the nursing students programme from first placement through to sign off mentorship
