Lead Specialist Nurse - Diabetes role:

 

An exciting opportunity for a Lead Specialist Nurse has become available to work within the Diabetes team within the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS FT. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual who wishes to become part of a successful Diabetes team across Southern Derbyshire and East Staffordshire.

 

Requirements:

 

We are looking for an individual with broad experience as a Specialist Nurse within Diabetes, a positive outlook and a passion for driving services forward. Experience across inpatient/outpatient/community settings, managing complex diabetes cases, autonomous working and team management skills would be advantageous.

 

Specific to role details:

 

Part-time and full-time applicants will be considered and successful applicant(s) may be expected to work across all diabetes services and sites within the Trust as required depending on service priorities. Please note that some hours are available to start immediately, and some will be available from October 2019.

Whilst specific tasks are provided for context in this advert the successful applicant(s) will be expected to work across all diabetes services within the Trust as required depending on service priorities
