Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for;

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our very busy department in Hand Outpatients.

The post is for 20 hours over a 3 day flexible week to cover clinical commitments. We have 11 Hand Consultants, with interests in Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedics. We work as part of a wider MDT, that includes therapy, medical staff, admin and a theatre suite, which is located above the clinic.  We have a busy trauma service, that covers a wide geographical catchment area.

The post will involve an interest in wound management, applying plaster casts, ( this skill will taught via a scope package) and working in the trauma Procedure Room, situated in clinic. Venepuncture, cannulation and IV administration skills would be an advantage, as we provide an Outpatient OPAT service.

Informal Visits are encouraged to fully understand the role in the clinic

Closing date for applications: 30th May 2019
