Superintendent Radiographer - Education & Professional Development

Applications are invited for the position of Superintendent Radiographer, within our compliance team within UHDB, (University Hospitals of Derby and Burton).

We are looking for an enthusiastic HCPC registered Radiographer to support training and education of our team, enabling the safe, efficient and effective provision of the Imaging Service across Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be a key member of the Imaging Compliance Team and have first line responsibility for the delivery of education and professional development to present and future staff, with a particular focus on students, new starters and those entering professional roles by new routes. This post holder will oversee the education and training needs of both students and staff members in order to meet the present and future needs of the Imaging Service, Patients and other service users.

The post holder will be based at the Royal Derby Hospital and will ensure that the patient experience is always at the forefront of their interactions with staff and all types of service users. Occasional working at other Trust sites may be required. .

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of working within UHDB across all sites within a network where excellent working relationships are already well established and there is a real enthusiasm to take our service forward.
