Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for; 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Recovery Unit for an experienced and forward thinking Lead Theatre Practitioner. We are an extremely busy Recovery Room covering General, Gynaecology, Urology and Orthopaedic Theatre suites. The department provides first stage recovery to patients from Trauma & Orthopaedics, General surgery, gynaecology/obstetrics,Urology, Maxillofacial & ENT specialties The successful candidate’s responsibilities include the management and day to day operation of Recovery and to provide  strong clinical leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as having proven leadership skills and the ability to multi task and deal with the unexpected. They will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to enable the unit to meet the demands and challenges of this expanding and developing service. They will be expected to have a minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience and experience of working at Band 6 level.
