Join us and help make a real difference to our Trust.

Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for;

We have an exciting Secondment/Fixed term opportunity for 12 month's, for an experienced Occupational Therapist to be part of our Integrated Respiratory Service for Southern Derbyshire to cover maternity leave. The role will entail working closely as part of a multi-professional team including Consultants, Nurses, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

The integrated service will afford us the opportunity to offer our patients proactive, preventative and person centered care. We aim to improve health by reducing the number of patients who develop respiratory diseases; improve the health of those at risk by identifying them earlier, improve the health of those diagnosed by empowering them to take an active role in managing their disease, and to improve the on-going and end of life care by supporting the social, physical and emotional needs of patients.

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust prides itself on delivering high quality care and we are continually striving to work in collaboration with the wider health community to benefit our patients.
